Telebyte presents the innovative Model 4801 Universal xDSL Noise/Interference Simulator, featuring the lowest noise floor of any noise simulator on the market today. This highly-advanced system allows manufacturers of today’s xDSL technologies to test signaling devices such as transceivers and DSLAMs with ease and accuracy. Our design uses unique technology to achieve real-life noise simulation, allowing for accurate and repeatable testing. Reduce clutter with this all-in-one unit that includes a powerful built-in PC, eliminating the need to add a PC to the test configuration. The Universal xDSL Noise/Interference Simulator seamlessly integrates with our outstanding line of wire line simulators for the ultimate in affordability, accuracy and ease of use. Modular design allows for a system that can be expanded as needed.

The expandable Noise Library system will include new noises as standards are established (e.g., ETSI, ANSI, ITU and the DSL Forum).

Our LabVIEW-based control software includes features such as straightforward selection of test parameters, control of Telebyte wire line simulators, archiving of test setups and graphical representations of selected noise types. Remote control via RS-232, Ethernet or GPIB for scripting is also available.

The Model 4801 also includes an Analog Waveform Editor. This powerful and easy-to-use tool is used to build and export waveforms to standard formats. Features include: support for NI-HWS, LVM, ASCII and binary files; a library of approximately 20 built-in primitives, support for very large waveforms and the ability to save data with specifications so it can be easily manipulated at a later time.
